Sam Joyce was born in 1988 in Ottawa, Canada. At an early age, he discovered the masters of science-fiction’s golden age, and he’s never quite managed to shake the addiction. He read everything he could lay his hands on, running through the catalogue at the local public library. Without meaning to, Sam found he had read ALL the books. The only solution was to start writing his own stories. After the stacks of loose leaf paper threatened to overtake his entire home, he realized he needed somewhere better to keep all those weird early drafts.

This is a collection of some of those stories. A bizarre menagerie of drafts and snippets of scenes. Everything from writing science fiction, fantasy, pen and paper games, short fiction, shaggy dog stories. Hopefully some of it will be a little interesting.
